The other day at work, I saw my workmate, which is concept artist, working with the new Corel Painter. The truth is that I was surprised by the progress this program has suffered since the last version taht I tested, especially with dry techniques. The truth, I wanted to try the program and paint again.
The truth is that I love the result given this program with the stylus, You can even smudge the paper and everything, tilt the pencil and paint with the flat tip to fill or shading. I really like the results obtained with pencils in general.
In this portrait, I tried to simulate different techniques: pencil, color pencil, watercolor and ink something basically are the techniques that I like more, I like the result given with this program.

Body Setup v.01

I have been trying to finish this tool to help to make the rigging works, faster, especially for my characters and animation tests. But it is always the same, I never have free time. Well, I think that I have a fairly stable version of this tool: "Body v.01 Setup."

The setup can become complex depending on the type of setup we need, but it is always translated into more time. Thanks to this tool I simplify the work with a few clicks, you can have a pretty complete setup in minutes.

I put some videos for you to see how easy is to use my tool, and you can see how making a character setup is faster and easier than ever.

To inaugurate the blog, I'll post my first 3D shortfilm. It was done as a final draft of the Master MA ISCA 2004, at the University of the Balearic Islands. The film was made in four months and it tryes to reflect everything learned during the course. It was a very satisfying experience, both professionally and personally. After the shortfilm, you can see a list of the festivals where the short was nominated.

Hello everyone!
My name is Ricardo and I created this blog to have a place to go up my little jobs, animations, drawings and several things.
